Kaabil Running Successfully In Paksitan, Raaes To Follow

Sanjay Gupta’s Kaaabil has earned huge respect from the Pakistani audience and the craze of the film is still being felt all acroos the neighbouring country even a week after its release. The chemistry between Hritik Roshan and Yami Gautam accompanied by the duo’s display of top class acting and engaging story-line has helped Kaabil to make room for itself in the hearts of millions of film goers in Pakistan.

Kaabil, however, the first Indian movie that hit the Pakistani screens since the authority there decided to lift the ban on Indian movies. After Nawaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan gave the consent to end the ban on Indian films on January 26 the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage declared on January 31, “The Federal Government is pleased to continue the existing open policy to display all international movies (including Indian films) in Pakistani cinemas”.

The ban came as a response from the Pakistani side when the Indian Motion Pictures Association (IMPPA) banned Pakistani artists from working in Bollywood in the wake of the Uri attacks last year.

Shah Rukh Khan starring “Raaes” which has already left the Indian audience spell bound is all set to release on the other side of the boarder on Feb 10. “Raaes” features Mahira Khan, an ace Pakistani actress, iin the role of Shah Rukh’s wife.

Most probably “Ae Dil Hain Mushkil” (ADHM) staring a Pakistani artist Fawad Khan along with Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai, will be released there too.

On October, 2016, ADHM, directed by Karan Johar faced a problem due to the presence of Pakistani artist Fawad Khan in the movie. Maharastra Navnirman Sena (MNS) threatened to block the release of the movie.But the problem was solved by a meeting with stakeholders.

The ban on Indian films saw a massive impact on Pakistani box office. It is expected that the Indian movies will do exceptional business there.
