News surrounding EVM are getting more and more controversial from all corners of the India with speculations, accusations, changes and future prospects.

On Wednesday there were news claimed that EC has challenged the experts, political parties and any technical experts to come ahead and hack EVM machines in the first week of May shuttering all the rumours and chaos surrounding these unexplained answers emerging in the last few months.

While Punjab Chief Minister statement that “If EVMs were fixed then I wouldn’t be sitting here. The Akalis would” shows mixed signals from Congress too.

After the latest news Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted for asking the credibility of these sources that were making news in the media and why still EC (Election Commission) hasn’t issued any formal statement regarding this.

Now after a plea from BSP, Supreme Court has asked for response from Centre and ECI (Election Commission of India) for using these specific EVM without any paper trail.

Bench Headed by Justice Chelameswar has issues noticed for next hearing on May 8 both to ECI and government for their answer respectively. Citing the assurance of these EVM in the public eye for any tampering and vulnerability from hardware and software.

Congress led delegation led Sonia Gandhi also submitted memorandum on EVM irregularities in front of the President Pranab Mukherjee earlier this Wednesday.
