In what started as high scoring IPL 10 the Finale was low scorching thriller that saw Mumbai Indians victorious in the last ball finish with just one runs against Rising Pune Supergiants at Hyderabad Stadium in Andhra Pradesh.

MI Captain Rohit Sharma and their team uplifted this year IPL trophy with resounding last over finish by Mitchell Johnson who took the match to the last ball requiring four runs of the last ball. Australian all rounder Daniel Christian was only able to hit on the leg side and ball was covered by the cover fielder on the boundary. Here the batsman ran two runs and tried taking 3rd run for another super over but eventually the fielder who fumbled on first attempt got hold of the ball and throw to the MI wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel who took out bails immediately.

Whole stadium erupted in joy as this was shocking with RPS always seemed to has controlled over the match from the beginning.

Jaydav Unadkat started the match in brilliant way by taking out both the MI openers with Patel (4 runs) caught at mid on while Lendl Simmons (3 runs) making way for tough start. Next Rayudu(12 from 15, 1×4) got run out and then Captain Rohit Sharma (24 from 22, 4×4) was caught out as well. With the fall of Pollard(7 from 3,1×6) and Hardik Pandya(10 from 9, 1×4) score was 78 for 6 wickets and then Karn Sharma was run out too making it seventh wicket for 79 only. But then the partnership between Krunal Pandya (47 from 38, 3 Fours 2 Sixes) and Mitchell Johnson (13 from 14) made the real difference but still the final score was just barely 129 for 8 wickets and match was in the hands of RPS.

Pune started slow with Tripath getting LBW by Bumrah then partnership between Rahane and Smith had them in the upper control of the match. Slowness of the wicket and Scoreboard pressure took their toll on the RPS partnerships as well. MS Dhoni (10 from 13 balls) with just one four was crtitical while Smith who anchored the whole innings could only muster 51runs from 50 balls (2 Fours, 2 Sixes) getting out in the last over too.
