Defending Champion Trophy Indain team Captain Virat Kohli is leading a strong squad mix of youngsters and experienced guys as India are looking for their 3rd Title in this ICC tournament.

India will start their campaign against arch rivals Pakistan June 4 at Edgbaston, Birmingham and Current Indian Team Captain is in full confident and heaped praised on their squad. He further praised MS Dhoni and Yuraj as the strongest pillars around which the whole foundation of the team is built.

Indian Captain told the press ahead of their leaving for England in Champions Trophy “I would never play for redemption, I only play to keep winning.”On being questioned about facing Pakistan in their first match in Champions trophy.

Although India always had the upper hand in cricketing ties (11-0) against Pakistan in 50-50 world cup and World T20 but in Champions Trophy Pakistan have 2-1 record in their favour and Indian Captain has played down the hype for their mouth watering clash in the upcoming series. Kohli said it will be just another cricket match for the players leaving aside the border situation worsening last months.

This year Champions Trophy will be held in England with first match beginning on June where host England will go one on one with Bangladesh respectively while Indian begins on June 4.

India is the defending champions as last time in 2013 they defeated the host in the nail biting low match thriller they won under the leadership of MS Dhoni. India is scheduled to play Sri Lanka (8th June) and South Africa (11th June) later in this super packed Cricket Tournament.
