Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan showered praise and reward of Rs 50,000 for head constable Abhishek Patel, who ran one kilometer with 10 KG bomb on his shoulder to save children and video has gone viral on internet.
After anonymous call was received for explosive present in School in Chitora village which is located on Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, police reached the premises as soon as possible. When they found the live bomb there in the school which has around 400 children, Patel took the responsibility for taking the bomb as far as possible from the place for safeguarding the children.
Whole ordeal was recorded on video with 12 seconds shows him running with bomb on his shoulder and went viral on social media too. Policeman said that he has done similar sprint in their drill too where they were told for protecting the public with right steps.
Congress Committee member Ashok Gehlot Patel also tweeted “Patel and his entire unit, who rushed to save children, deserve our applause,” CM Shivraj also later announced the reward of Rs 50,000 for the policeman for his act of courage in danger situations.
