Gun Hill Top – After Camel’s Back Road, get yourself charged up with a heavy breakfast. The next place to visit is the Gun Hill top. There is a ropeway service available but if you are an explorer then it’s preferable for you to trek up to the top of the hill. The road that leads up to the top is relatively safe and there is hardly any risk involved. Situated at a height of 400 ft above the mall, Gun Hill Top is the second highest point of Mussoorie. Once you reach the top, you will witness amazing scenic beauty. On one side, you will see the entire Doon Valley and the other sides will offer you the untamed and natural views of the Shivaliks. If you are travelling with kids then Gun Hill top is a must as your kids will get a chance to play games like riffle shooting and archery. There are a few shop will sell artefacts too.

Happy Valley – Your next stop will be Happy Valley. Located at the outskirts of the town, this place is famous for the Buddhist temple situated there. Although small in size, this Buddhist temple is an epitome of authentic and marvellous Tibetan architecture. If you are in search of peace at the lap of Mother Nature, then this temple is the ideal place for you. Far away from the chaotic crowd, you can spend hours meditating inside the temple. What will be even more interesting is the journey as the road that leads to the valley is simply picturesque. You can either walk or take a taxi. As it is not located at the heart of the town, greenery is more and thus the temperature is on the lower side.Return to your hotel or hit a café for lunch and then take a little break in order to refill your energy.

Lal Tibba Top –  To witness an incredible sunset head toward Lal Tibba top. Lal Tibba top is the highest point in Mussoorie. You can either trek or hire a taxi. Once you reach Char Dukan, a spot at the top of Lal Tibba, do not stop there. Walk further on that stretch till you find a café with a binocular at the roof of it. With the help off that binocular, you can see several snow clad mountain peaks if the weather is not cloudy. Apart from that, you will see a couple typically small isolated villages of the Garhwal belt, once of which is TehriGarhwal. But the main attraction here is the sunset. In the months of summer, sun sets around 7 in the evening. As the sun vanishes behind the hills, the colour of the horizon turns into crimson red. The grandeur of the view is hard to describe in words. You need to grab a cup of coffee to experience this slow but magnificent sight. As you head back to Mussoorie, you will see that the uncountable small lights of the Doon valley looks like a gold necklace that surrounds the hills.

The Mall – Once you reach the town, you can sit at one of the bench in the Mall Road and recall your day’s experiences with your friends or family. If you are alone then plug in your earphones and enjoy the gorgeous night view of the Dehradun valley.

Kempty Falls – Next morning, start early for the Kempty Falls. Situated 13 kms from the hill station, it is adviced that you should go to Kempty by a cab because if you travel by bus, you will have limited time to explore the untamed beauty that lies there. If you really want to enjoy your visit to the Kempty Falls and make it memorable then start going upwards. After a certain point there will be no staircases and the climbing the road that goes further up is really daunting.

Company Garden – In the evening you can visit Company Garden. The garden is very well maintained and your eyes will rest upon a wide range of flowers. It is a perfect spot for clicking family photographs.

You can then spend the rest of your evening by shopping. There are numerous little shops strating from Library Chowk up to the end of the Mall Road. Mussorrie is famous for its high quality winter wears and they are relatively cheap.

How To Reach Mussoorie From Delhi?

From Delhi you have to reach Dehradun either by a bus or by train. After reaching Dehradun you can go to Mussoorie either by a cab or by a bus.
