3,500 Child pornographic websites Blocked By centre Government

The Centre blocked around 3,500 website hosting such content have been blocked last month.

The centre today told the Supreme Court that it is taking steps to deal with issue of child pornography in its entirety.

The government told a three-judge bench headed by justice Deepak Mishra that it has asked to CBSE to installation of Jammers in school to block access to child pornographic content.

Additional Solicitor Pinky Anand told the bench, also compromised justice AM Khallwilkar and MM Shatanagoudar that it is not possible to install jammers in school buses.

Jammers in school buses are not possible, Anand said but government has asked to CBSE consider whether jammer can be installed in to curb to access such website.

The government told the Supreme Court That it would file a status report on the step taken by it to curb child pornography.

The court has asked to central government to file a status report with in Two days.
