The Delhi unit of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), today, stung Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with a wide range of allegations christening him as a “liar” and “bluff-master”. The president of Delhi BJP, Manoj Tiwary, blamed Kejriwal of duping the people of Delhi who gave him 67 seats in the Assembly election as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has failed to deliver the promises that it made during the polls.

While releasing a “reality check” report, which was made on the basic of the reply to the RTI queries filed by BJP, Tiwary said that the AAP government has not hold a single meeting with the Ministry of Home Affairs on the issue of women safety, one of the prime issues on which Kejriwal planked his election campaign.

Slamming Kejriwal, Tiwary added that, in the span of 2 years, the government has not held any meeting on the case of regularising unauthorised colonies.

Launching an all-out attack on the Delhi CM, Tiwary , in a press conference, said, “Why should not I call such a person (Kejriwal) bluff-master and liar as he failed to fulfil his promises to the people who gave him 67 seats in Delhi.”

Furthering his list of allegations, Tiwary said that despite AAP government’s claim of waiving water bills, unauthorised colonies are being deprived of drinking water.

People in slums where I had spent a night were craving for water. The AAP government claims waiving water bills but what is the use when there is no water for people in slums and unauthorised colonies,” Tiwary said.

During the press conference, Tiwary did not leave the opportunity to refer to the reports of Kejriwal staying at a house of a “terrorist” while campaigning in Punjab and also called him the country’s “biggest threat”.

Further charging Kejriwal, Tiwary said that Kejriwal has wasted the money of the common people of Delhi for his own political purpose as AAP deployed 16,000 camerapersons for spying on the opposition parties’ election rally.

New Delhi MP Meenakshi Lekhi and leader of opposition in Delhi Assembly, Vijendra Gupta, tore apart Kejriwal for the lack of proper governance.

Taking a dig at Kejriwal on his propositions of banning liquor in other states, Lekhi  said, “The Kejriwal government has given licence to 250 pubs and 399 liquor vends in the national capital according to the RTI reply.”

Gupta blamed the Delhi government for not taking appropriate actions against the tainted ministers and legislators.
