Police Nabbed Two More In Connection With Manchester Suicide Bombing

Greater Manchester police said that 2 more suspects have been nabbed in connection with the suicide bombing at Manchester Arena that left 22 people dead.

The police confirmed that 2 men aged 19 and 25 were arrested on the basis of being associated with suspected terror activities.

With these two being the latest in the list, the number of arrest made in connection with the Manchester attack has moved up to 13.

Apart from claiming 22 lives, the suicide bombing left 54 people severely injured out of which 19 are still battling for their lives.

Meanwhile with the progress of investigation, it has been revealed that the 22 year old Manchester-born bomber Salman Abedi, who belonged to a family of Libyan origin was an active part of a terrorist network. In Tripoli, Libya’s capitial, Abedi’s brother and father has been detained for interrogation by special forces linked to the interior minister of the country.

In order to enhance the security, army has been given the charge to protect important locations which include Buckingham Palace and Houses of Parliament.
